Lauryl Alcohol Ethoxylate AEO-5, also known as lauryl alcohol polyether-5 or AEO-5, is an important nonionic surfactant. The product is formed by the condensation of fatty alcohol and ethylene oxide, and has a unique molecular structure R-O-(CH2CH2O)nH, where R represents the fatty alcohol group of C12C18, and n represents the addition number of ethylene oxide, usually between 15-16. This structure gives AEO-5 an excellent balance of hydrophilicity and lipophilicity, making it widely used in many fields.

Product Function

Washing daily chemicals: AEO-5 has excellent emulsification, foaming and decontamination capabilities. It is the main active ingredient in products such as hand soap, laundry detergent, shower gel, washing powder, dishwashing detergent and metal cleaning agent.
Textile printing and dyeing: Lauryl Alcohol Ethoxylate AEO-5, as a textile printing and dyeing auxiliary, plays an emulsifying role and can be used in auxiliary agents such as emulsified silicone oil, penetrant, leveling agent and polypropylene oil agent, which helps to improve the processing performance of textiles and improve product quality.
